Decorating

It's time to decorate! Please check back on the blog because I'm in the process of adding some of my favorite Christmas songs on the playlist and hopefully and new background. We started decorating the house today. Jeremiah put the tree up in the dining room. We wanted it to be seen from the street so we are going to have it in the dining room for the first time.

We had a very busy week! Last weekend we went to the Gwinnett Gladiators game with Preston and Parker's Great Grandparents, their Great-Aunt Mary and Great-Uncle Denny, and their cousins Kenny and Carol. Everyone stayed at our house for a while, until some of the went on to Florida for vacation. Granny and Gramps stayed with us until Thursday and now they are visiting other family in the Atlanta area. Our friend's daughter, Amber, was even proposed to at the game!! She said yes!

I also had parent teacher conferences after school, so needless to say we had a busy week! We enjoyed time visiting with everyone. On Wednesday, I left work for a while and picked up Granny and Gramps to visit Preston at his school for the Thanksgiving Lunch. They really enjoyed it. Preston thought that Gramps was "embarrassing" because he talked too loud, but other than that we did ok.

This will be the first year that we will put up Christmas lights on our house. We had a few on the bushes last year, but we are planning to line the house with white lights this year. Any want to help us??? I didn't think so :)
