We named our new family blog Snails and Pigtails to better fit our changing and growing family. We started out as "justfoureyes.blogspot.com", but felt as we began our adoption journey that we needed something new. The title Snails is for our two sons, Preston and Parker. Pigtails is for our precious Chinese daughter.
We've considered adoption for a long time, but made the final leap of faith during Christmas Break of 2007. After a little research we found out that we wouldn't be able to begin our adoption paperwork until I was 29.5 In addition, we would have to wait until I am 30 to submit our homestudy and dossier.
