This morning one of my friends brought her family to our church for the first time. No big deal, right? Well, this amazing woman has 22 children (3 biological and the others through adoption)!! I may even been off on the number, because I believe she is taking care of three additional foster children right now. The next time you don't want to get your family ready for church, think of this amazing woman who helped all of these children get ready for church today! Each of the children had been fed, dressed in their best clothing, and their hair was fixed!!
As I walked with this amazing mother down the hall, we passed two other adoptive mothers. There we were - 4 of us - standing in the hall together. All woven together through adoption. I hope that our stories will lead others to support adoption in some way. Not everyone is called to adopt, but many are able to support adoption through other means.
Our agency, CCAI, now has all of our dossier documents. Join us in prayer this week that we submitted everything that is necessary and all of our paperwork will be approved. Next step, the papers will be sent to Colorado to be translated and then on to China. We are coming baby, Phillips!! Miss you.
Love,
Tracy

It's Decor and Accessory Swap Party!
Help us bring baby Phillips Raegan home to his Forever Family by attending our Decor and Accesory Swap Party on Friday, October 16th. It's going to be a great night of swapping, laughter, and yummies! Many of my girlfriends have volunteered to bring tables over and decorate them for the BIG event. Social at 6:30pm, swap begins at 7:30pm.
What is a swap? This swap has three categories.
1. Home Decor - dishes, lamps, pictures, clocks, art, new candles, baskets, frames,
2. Accesories - purses, wallets, jewelry, scarves, belts, bags, gloves, etc.
3. Fall/Winter Decor - any seasonal items for Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas.
10 clean and gently used items would be appreciated (more than 10 items are certainly welcome as well.
Items can be dropped off within a week prior to the party.
All participating swappers will draw a number for the order of swapping and have a limited amount of time to retrieve an item - you may choose 1 item per round.
Once you've collected all the items you want, your number will be dropped from the rotation and the swap will continue until everyone is done.
You may want to bring a tote to help carry home your new stuff!!!
So clean out those closets, attics, and basements - eat, drink, meet new friends and shop! What more could a girl want??
Cost : $20 to attend with all proceeds going to adoption fees.
Can't attend by want to support our adoption? You could drop off a dessert, appetizer, or sodas before the event or drop off swap items throughout the week.
